Connecting Reliance WiFi Data Card to HP Laptop

Postby Roshini on Wed Aug 29, 2007 4:17 pm

I've a HP Laptop which I purchased from SwamiLaptops (http://www.swamilaptops.in/product_info ... cts_id=444)

I want to use Reliance Wifi Datacard (http://www.swamilaptops.in/product_info ... cts_id=477) with it. Could anyone let me know if it is compatible with above laptop?

Do I need to purchase any external card to connect to it with Laptop?

Relaince Datacard comes with 2 interfaces; USB and PCMCIA.

Better get the PCMCIA version so that you can keep USB Port free for other usage.

PCMCIA card will work with your Laptop's PCMCIA slot and you don't need any external interface.

Thanks SOI.
I was looking at Reliance Website but it seems they forgot to put information on PCMCIA compatibility.

As usual these guys got money but don't understand the technology and try to think with money rather than brain. They never put complete information on their websites.
